Rachel Smith is the latest addition to our Agricultural Property & Rural Business Team. She joins the Firm as a Senior Associate Solicitor, bringing more than 8 years of invaluable experience in dealing with Agricultural Property matters to the table, having previously worked at a notable regional firm.
Recognised in the Legal 500, Rachel is described as “fantastic. Whenever Rachel is involved in a transaction, I know we are in safe hands. She is proactive with great communication skills. Never afraid to pick up the phone to discuss complicated matters, in such a simple way that even for uneducated people like myself to understand.”
Rachel deals with all aspects of Agricultural Property and land transactions, including the sale and purchase of farmland and farmhouses, agricultural finance, first registrations, easements and succession planning. Rachel has also developed a wealth of experience in acting for rural landowners with potential solar farms, battery storage and AD projects.
Rachel’s background, from which her love for Agricultural Property & Rural Business stems, involves a family farming business with a farm shop based in Chapel Brampton.
Outside of work, Rachel is a keen supporter of the Northampton Saints, and she also plays golf at Northamptonshire County Golf Club – although, by her own admission, she is a fair-weather golfer!
