Morgan Baines is an Associate Solicitor in our Agricultural Property & Rural Business team. She joined the Firm in 2018 as a Paralegal in the Residential Property Team. Morgan successfully completed her LPC, secured her training contract, and qualified as a Solicitor in our Agricultural Property & Rural Business team August 2021. Through her hard work and determination, she has recently been promoted to Associate Solicitor in 2025.
Morgan’s areas of expertise include dealing with sales and purchases of land, with in-depth understanding and knowledge of the various aspects of Agricultural Property & Rural Estate transactions. Adept at Land Registry applications, Morgan also assists with adverse possession, first registration and prescriptive easement applications.
Morgan also assists Matt Hawkins in advising clients on succession planning strategies, such as Partnership Agreements. Family farms often span generations, and as such, it is not at all unusual for us to work closely with our colleagues in the Private Client department and tax advisors, to ensure that succession planning is properly considered and handled smoothly.
Morgan approaches matters meticulously, with admirable dedication and commitment. She has proven herself to be a hardworking and trusted member of the Firm and we are incredibly proud of her and her achievements. With her amiable personality, Morgan is well liked by colleagues and clients.
Outside of work, Morgan enjoys spending time with her family and young daughter, long country walks and watching the rugby.
